The End

We have come to the end, it is all over! I will graduate in two weeks and hold the ITEC program dear in my heart. It has given me the skills needed to apply to real-world work opportunities, specifically in the educational field. I will greatly miss the assignments and deadlines, but eventually everyone has to move on. The program has prepared to continue with my career endeavors and who knows I may end up back in school AGAIN! I am glad to have completed the program and I an excited about what the future holds.

Time coming to an end...

It has come to the end of the class. I have finished my website and submitted it for review. I hope that it is done correctly. It was very time consuming and a lot of trial and error, but in the end I think I did a pretty good job. The website was quite a challenge felt by all my classmates, so I did not feel alone. The Internet was so helpful in my quest for creating this website. I was able to Google a lot of tips and techniques that I needed to learn.

So next time someone asks me "do I think the Internet is a learning tool?" My answer will be definitive and quick -YES!

Final Week!

Hello again,

we have approached our final week of class. It has been busy, time consuming, but quite a learning experience. The assignments that we were given have all been for a purpose that was beyond me upon first encounter. I now understand the importance and significance of each assignment. I did not realize the amount of work and pre and post planning it requires to create a course management structure. I did not realize how many times I say "umm" in a sentence until embarking on the challenge of creating a podcast. I did not understand what goes into creating a website, more specifically a instructional website.

The class has been one that challenged me and made me dig deep to find the knowledge and skills to create the assignments. I know can take this experience with me and apply it in a real-world setting. I have enjoyed the learning, the discussions and the feedback. The class has been very beneficial to me and I would definitely recommend it to other students or ITEC professionals.
